More or less recovered from Heroes Con now.
Holy crap there’s nothing quite so terrifying as the people who stop at your table and wordlessly (even after you say hello) hover for what feels like an eternity looking at your wares and silently judging you oh god…
But if you’re reading this and you stopped by the table and/or bought or hell, even traded something: Thank You
It was great to see a bunch of old friends again in addition to completely new people and internet people I hadn’t met yet. Finally meeting my bosses from Agreeable Comics wasn’t quite as terrifying as I thought it would be and I’m pretty relieved that the LBFA guys maybe don’t hate my guts quite as much as I thought they maybe did.
And if you’re reading this and had the misfortune of meeting me, sorry for being weird. I’m painfully shy and was a bit shell-shocked by the whole affair.
The crashing blood sugar and usual batch of neuroses weren’t helping either.
But anyway, I survived tabling my first big con!
And now to get to work on the Kickstarter prints, posters, and sketches. I really hope you guys won’t totally hate the book. The lack of response has me sort of nervous.
